Welcome from Neil Green, Head of School.
Welcome to Claystone School. I am delighted to introduce myself as the Head of School and to warmly welcome you to our community.
I have worked in education for over 15 years, beginning my journey with a degree focused on Special Educational Needs. This early experience sparked a lifelong passion for inclusive, child-centred education and supporting pupils to thrive as individuals. Over the past ten years, I have held senior leadership roles across a wide range of areas within school life, working closely with staff and pupils to create environments where everyone feels valued, supported, and encouraged to succeed.
At Claystone School, we are committed to providing a calm, nurturing, and flexible environment where pupils feel safe to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. We truly believe that embracing difference leads to endless possibilities, and our personalised pathways support the development of communication, confidence, curiosity, and independence. Every child is encouraged to be the best they can be and to discover their own strengths and interests.
Working in close partnership with families is at the heart of everything we do. We value the knowledge, insight, and support that families bring and believe that by working together, we can help every child reach their full potential.
I am incredibly proud to be part of Claystone School and look forward to working alongside our pupils, families, and dedicated staff to continue building a welcoming, inclusive school where every learner can thrive.
